The Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) was established in terms of the Skills Development Act No. 97 of 1998 and is responsible for the facilitation of skills development within the local government sector.

GAUTENG (1 POST)
STRATEGY AND PLANNING

The purpose of an evaluation analyst is to assess the effectiveness of programmes and projects through validating data and information to confirm correctness and validation of information as well as identify areas of improvement and to provide feedback and recommendations for further enhancement. Use a variety of methods, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to collect data and analyse performance.
Conduct analysis of data to assess programme outcomes and effectiveness and monitor progress and make suggestions for programme or project improvement. Monitoring analysts will also provide reports and presentations to stakeholders to communicate their findings and make follow-ups. Job Requirements: B-degree in M&E or related field or equivalent qualification (NQF level 7) A project management qualification would be advantageous. Experience: 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of performance. Experience in data analysis of skills development initiatives and monitoring training provision

- The successful applicant’s remuneration is negotiable, based on a Total-Cost-to-Company package that is inclusive of retirement fund and medical aid employer contribution.
