The Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) was established in terms of the Skills Development Act No. 97 of 1998 and is responsible for the facilitation of skills development within the local government sector.

The Contract management Travel and Transport Practitioner will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and determining actions to ensure effective contract administration. Maintain the register of transversal contracts. Coordinate the development of Service Level Agreements and file all signed contracts. Monitor and evaluate contract performance in line with the SLA. Monitor Compliance and control in contract management, coordinate improved service delivery. Monitor the utilisation of LGSETA vehicles. Monitor utilisation of Travel Management Providers and ensure compliance with Travel Framework

Job Requirements: Minimum: Degree or Diploma in Financial Management, Logistics, Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, or Public Administration. Post Graduate Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage. Experience: 3-5 years in Supply Chain Management.

  • The successful applicant’s remuneration is negotiable, based on a Total-Cost-to-Company package that is inclusive of retirement fund and medical aid employer contribution.
